Isobel began her 25 year career in real estate as a result of her personal success working with her husband selling, building and improving homes: both residential and commercial. Eight years ago, as a result of an impromptu sale, the Ross Estate built by Mitch and Isobel sold, breaking records and making headlines in Marin and beyond. This was the culmination of many years of real estate experience; and this is the experience she draws from, taking pride in her clients' successes as if they were her own.
Originally from Boston, Isobel came to Berkeley to attend UC. There she met her husband, Mitch Wiener, who was just embarking on his career in construction and development. After graduating from Berkeley, Isobel worked in the field of social work, later returning to UCSF Med Center where she received a second degree in Nursing and continued on as an RN in a supervisory role. Her husband Mitch, a high-end luxury homebuilder, was the motivation for her to change into real estate as a career.
After many years as a top-producing agent with FH Allen and Re/Max, Isobel was recruited to Decker Bullock Sotheby's International Realty in 1999 because of her prolific career selling high-end properties to an elite clientele. She chose this company because of its international exposure, and its emphasis on the luxury market. Today using the Decker Bullock Sotheby's International Realty marketing team and international outreach, as well as working with the most knowledgeable agents in the Bay Area, Isobel provides an unparalleled level of service.
On the personal side, Isobel, Mitch and their two daughters moved from Mill Valley to Ross nearly 20 years ago, establishing themselves as active members of the community and the schools, both public and private. Passionate about Marin's outdoors, Isobel has run the Dipsea, enjoyed many years sailing the bay with her husband, and knows some of the best trails for hiking and biking. Her older daughter Georgia, an avid equestrian, has brought the family into the world of horses and ranches. Now Georgia, who has a wealth of real estate experience in her own rite, has moved back from San Diego and joined Isobel, making for a vibrant, creative and innovative Mother-Daughter Real Estate Team!
In summation, practicing real estate with the highest morals and ethics is of utmost importance to Isobel. When she was a nurse she was always a patient advocate.
